How important is tha moon in vedic astrology,
astrology, planets are called benefit planets if they have a positive effect on your life. Look at your moon chart and see if you have any of these benefic planets in these houses:Benefic planets: Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury.Favorable houses: 2nd, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 12th.
- Moon (Mind) has been given highest importance in Hindu vedic astrology & that is why in Hindu vedic astrology, Astrologers ask for Moon sign (called as Rasi sign) than Ascendant (Lagna)
- The reason for it undefined in Western astrology, whereas in Hindu vedic astrology it is clearly mentioned – it is an indicator of the higher yogi / spiritual status
- In an normal body, mind controls body functions, body current go from mind to body
- In an uplifted spiritual person, the currents move upto the Mind, the more the current, the more is the spirituality of that person
Conclusion
It is the Moon which uplifts the Ascendant & Sun (Soul) in Hindu vedic astrology, though the Sun (soul) also has an independent importance. That is placement of Moon & Sun are important in Hindu vedic astrology
- Example: India has its fair share (modern) of fake messengers of God (mainly in past 30 years) who were brilliant in their knowledge (Moon) but were fallen souls (Sun), so they ended up with sexual & criminal cases
- These fallen fake messengers of God were hoarders of black money of politicians in form of land & gold.
- Why “land & gold” – Moon also represents land, Sun presents Gold in astrology. A fallen (debilitated) Sun in a chart will buy or get attracted to physical Gold than an exalted Sun (person with exalted Sun himself is Gold so the native is less interested & less attracted to physical Gold) !!
